Soft Service Auditor

Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: North West (Regional Role with Regular Travel)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Castlefield Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with Community Health Partnerships (CHP) to recruit a Soft Services Auditor.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of community healthcare services across England. Working within a national portfolio of healthcare properties, you'll have the opportunity to influence service quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure facilities consistently meet the needs of patients, staff and visitors.

The Opportunity

As Soft Service Auditor, you will play a key role in assuring the quality and performance of soft facilities management services across CHP's healthcare estate. This is a highly visible position that combines on-site auditing, stakeholder engagement and performance management, helping to ensure healthcare environments remain safe, compliant and welcoming.

Working closely with Facilities Contract Managers, operational teams and service provider partners, you will have responsibility for monitoring service performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the delivery of consistently high standards across the portfolio.

The role offers significant autonomy, with responsibility for managing your own regional workload while contributing to CHP's wider national quality assurance programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance and compliance activities across a diverse portfolio of community healthcare buildings.
• Conduct regular cleaning and soft services audits, ensuring services are delivered in line with contractual requirements and agreed standards.
• Undertake comprehensive site inspections covering cleaning standards, waste management, equipment compliance and wider soft FM service delivery.
• Build productive relationships with NHS stakeholders, tenants and service partners, acting as a key point of contact for service quality matters.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and focus site programmes to drive service excellence across the estate.
• Produce performance reports, identify trends and provide assurance to senior colleagues on service quality and compliance.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who can bring both technical understanding and strong relationship management skills.

You will ideally have:

• Knowledge of soft FM services, including cleaning, waste, security, reception or related service areas.
• Experience of monitoring performance against service standards, KPIs or contractual requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and travel regularly within your designated region.

Experience within healthcare, NHS, public sector or PFI/LIFT environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
