Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Not-for-Profit organisation in Staffordshire who are looking to recruit a Treasury Assistant on an interim basis for an initial 2 months. The role offers a lot of flexibility with home working (1 day a month in the office) and is highly likely to be extended.
Duties:
- To assist with the Treasury function including, updating cash-flow forecasts, and providing cash-flow requirements for the entire business.
- To assist with the completion of day-to-day and weekly treasury tasks including, daily bank downloads and resolving any banking queries that may arise, payments (cheques, BACS, CHAPS, inter account) and DD collection
- To ensure all loan interest and commitment fee payments are requested and paid on a timely basis.
- To ensure bank reconciliations are completed on a timely basis.
- To assist with calculating elements of the VAT returns on a timely basis.
- To assist Purchase Ledger colleagues with invoice processing.
- To encourage a continuous improvement approach and encourage better ways of doing things.
