Castlefield Recruitment are partnering on an exclusive basis with a reputable public-sector organisation in Reading to recruit an Interim Deputy Head of Procurement for an initial 3-month period.
Duties:
- Manage a team of 7 including a Senior Category Manager, 2 Category Managers and a Procurement Administration team
- Work through the annual work plan
- Be responsible for contract management within the team
- Work closely with regional Directors on shared procurements
Experience:
- Experience of Public Sector procurement is essential
- Experience managing and mentoring a team
- Strong stakeholder management, engagement and influencing skills
