Castlefield are currently working with a Public Sector organisation to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner to join the team on an initial 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. The organisation has an excellent reputation and offers a range of great benefits, including flexible and hybrid working, with 2 days a week onsite in Manchester.
Duties:
· Provide robust financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
· Collaborate with non-finance senior stakeholders to manage budgets effectively.
· Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
· Ensure compliance with public sector financial regulations and policies.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for financial improvement.
· Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
· Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.
