Rent Team Leader

Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a not-for-profit organisation in order to recruit a Rents Team Leader on a interim basis to support during a busy period and system implementation. The role is offers flexible/hybrid working and a hourly rate between £23 - £26 per hour via umbrella company, depending on experience.
Role:
You will work closely with senior management to ensure rent accounting processes are followed in line to strict deadlines, as well as leading the rents team.
Duties will include;
- Responsible for calculating rents accurately and correctly in line with the Rent Standard
- Suggest and implement new processes and processes to deliver efficiencies, improvements and value for money
- Calculating and reconciling service charge budgets and analysing any variances
- Assisting with the implementation of service charge modules in new IT system, ensuring consistent and clear communication
The successful candidate:
- Experienced within housing or similarly regulated sector (E)
- Experienced with rent setting and service charge accounting (E)
- Experience assisting / leading on system implementations (D)
- Strong Excel and systems knowledge
