Finance and Reporting Assistant | £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience | permanent | North Manchester / Lancashire :
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable and fast-paced organisation in Bolton who are looking to recruit a newly created Finance and Reporting Assistant position to their team to their team. The role offers a mature working environment, the opportunity to learn new processes and the use of PowerBI, as well as other benefits such as yearly bonus scheme, NHS top-up scheme and many more.
Duties:
- Maintaining the sales ledger, including setting up new accounts and credit checking
- Assisting with management accounts preparation, including overheads analysis
- Preparing and post journals including accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing and maintaining daily GP reporting for distribution to senior management
Experience:
- Previous experience in a finance / assistant accountant position - essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment - essential
- Experience working with large excel spreadsheets and information - essential
- Experience working with PowerBI - desirable
