Castlefield Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with the Licensed Trade Charity (LTC) to recruit a Head of Estates on a permanent basis.
Based at the LTC in Ascot with travel to all five schools within the LTC Education Group (Ascot, Maidenhead, Oxford, Hassocks and Waterlooville), this is an excellent opportunity to support the growth of the LTC Education Group.
The Licensed Trade Charity was founded in 1793 and have been helping those in the licensed hospitality sector for over 200 years. The Licensed Trade Charity (LTC) is the organisation behind our family of schools, supporting the licensed hospitality community through wellbeing services, financial assistance, and access to education.
The LTC Education Group is the dedicated school’s arm of the Charity, bringing all LTC schools together under one umbrella. Working as one organisation, LTC provides the heritage and purpose, while the Education Group focuses on delivering and growing outstanding independent and specialist education across our schools.
The role
· The Head of Estates will provide senior operational leadership for estates management, health and safety, sustainability reporting, and fleet management across LTC Education Group’s portfolio of five schools — comprising three SEN schools and two coeducational independent schools.
· Reporting to the Director of Estates and Projects, the postholder will lead a structured estates function, directly managing Estates Managers and a central Estates Coordinator.
· This role will ensure consistent standards, operational efficiency, and high-quality service delivery across all sites.
The candidate
· Degree or equivalent professional qualification in construction, building surveying, property management, estates management, engineering, or related discipline or relevant experience
· Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. IWFM, RICS, CIOB) – desirable
· Health and safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH - desirable
· Experience managing a large estate within education, charities, schools, or similar organisations
· Experience managing projects including sustainability initiatives
The package
· Salary between £70,000 - £78,000
· Car allowance/company car/use of pool car
· Excellent pension with up to 20% company contribution
